Midsummer is coming

This is the last week of school for C.E. and A.J.  Last week, A.R. graduated from high school with high honors.  He starts BYU in August.  He's moved in with us for the summer, and he's working as a carpet cleaner/carpet layer/ hardwood floor installer, all summer.

In a few weeks, little S.E. will be flying in to stay for the summer, too.  That will make us a big, bouncing blended family of seven!!  I always wanted a big family.

My sister and I are planning to have a Midsummer bash for our families in my back yard.  Midsummer parties, for Swedish folk, are a big deal.  How-tos and explanations of what Swedes do for midsummer, are available here:
